I was at Spinelli Barracks from 1971-1972 with the 56th Supply and Service. Had a lot of good times while stationed there.

I was there 1960-61 78th ord. supply co, shipping receiving. Had a lot of bullshit inspections but got to see a lot of Germany. Did enjoy Mannheim and Heidelberg and all the beer festivals and food. They painted all the barracks pastel colors in 61, looked like Disney Land.

I lived there from 1981 to 1984 at 17 e columbus strasse had a great time and served with the 2/13 mech infantry csc company, we lived in the field though , seemed like it any way

trying to find some friends of SSGT James Burroughs when he was stationed in Germany from 87-89 in mannheim. Does any one know Sgt James Smith or his wife Colleen.

Lived in BFV '77--'79. Lots of great memories. Still in contact with my neighbors across the hall in our stairwell. Was 13 years old at the time. One of the best times in my life...

I was at Spinelli Barracks with the 377th Trans Co. (HET) back in 1978 - 1979. Had Sgt Knight as my platoon leader. Had many good memories with my fellow soldiers and good times on Reforger trips in Germany. Sad to hear they closed Spinelli Barracks.

Was there in 1966-1968. 12th Supply Company, CO Cpt. Donald E. Culver, Loved every minute I was there. It sure beat going to Vietnam. Loved the egg sandwiches and bier from a little small gasthaus just outside the rear fence. Got to see a lot of a great country. Sorry to see Spinilli go.

I graduated from Mannheim American High School 1976.I also attended Darmstadt Career Center I was in auto repair our teacher Mr. Einsman was always test driving cars on the autobahn he hit speeds of 100mph or more fun for a 17 year old. My time at BFV was the most fun I ever had. I spent a total of 5 years in West Germany BFV was my favorite..

I lived there in 73 when i broke my arm

my name spc4 Morgan a troop 3/8 calvary coleman barrack 1971 thru 72, great 2 year . we play lot of war games. there beer and food was great . I drove a btr recovey unit, to pull those wonderfull sheridan tank back in for repair . I stay in the last barrack on conner . you came in thru upper gate took second street, turn left went to last row of barracks. One on conner was my home for 2 years. Live up stair ,and you didn,t have to smoke hash the smoke was so thick you get high from all the other smoking it.second smoke. I had blast over there with my buddy , know matter how long it been it seem like yesterday.
